I am a Latin Americanist and interdisciplinarian, residing at the intersection of sociology, geography, and anthropology. With a PhD in Development Sociology from Cornell University, I draw on political ecological methods and frameworks to connect the social and ecological worlds of food, agriculture, climate change and rural development. I teach classes on social theory, food & society, and Andean studies at the Honors College of the University of New Mexico.
